Sun City Peachtree Theatre Build-out
This Design-Build project was both a challenge and a pleasure to facilitate and build. The Sun City Peachtree 55 plus active community had an existing large clubhouse with approx. 8,000 S.F. of unfinished area on the first floor. It was our mission to turn it into a 145 seat theater along with extending the existing hallway and constructing 2 "group rooms" for cards or meetings. We started by having official drawings done by Williams Associates along with imput from the client. This process took about 30 days and in the meantime we started demo and prep of the site. We were tasked with adding a 200 AMP panel and a 7.5 ton HVAC unit (Bathrooms were existing). We worked with the community board to implement their desired selection of items such as theater seating, drapes, stage flooring, carpet & paint. The entire project took approximately 5 months start to finish and the entire Sun City Peachtree community & staff were great to work with. We at Tailor Made Enterprises were honored to be chosen as the contractor of choice. However, we could not have achieved this level of success with the hard working sub-contractors like One-Touch Electric, E.R. Roberts Cooling & Heat, GA. Flooring Inc., Sound Principles, Georgia Stage LLC, and Georgia Stage Equipment.
